Starved for Attention

Jacob simply cannot get enough attention. He does not care if both of us need to get things done, if 100% of our attention is not on him at all times, he goes into full-on panic mode. It's not as though we don't pay attention to him. From the day he was born, I have maintained that if Jacob could talk, he would say "Too many kisses, Mommy!" We love to snuggle him and tickle him and simply watch him, but sometimes, we cannot pay attention to him non-stop. Homework needs to get done, dishes need to be cleaned every once in a while, etc. So what does Jacob do when Mommy and Daddy are occupied by other things? Hold his breath until his face turns red and his eyes bug out! This is all put to a stop by simply blowing in his face, but the fact that we have to watch to make sure our six month old doesn't make himself pass out is ridiculous. Perhaps we should hire full-time baby kissers. Any takers?

Sick Baby :(

This poor Bub is a bit ill. He has a goopy, runny nose, he's been sneezing a lot (although his sneezes are adorable), he's been coughing a little and he has a tiny fever. We got the inside scoop on his first cold in this exclusive interview with Jacob himself.

Bubba's First Thanksgiving

Sorry it's been so long. Jacob was busy getting the poop spoiled out of him all week by grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. There was never a more popular baby. Jacob certainly feasted this week. He ate prunes, carrots, green beans, peas, bananas, and applesauce. Oh, and he had constipation. The doctor said to stick with one mix of fruits and vegetables and feed him that for a while. Thus, Bubby Delight was born. A delicious blend of all of Bubby's favorite foods; carrots, squash, and apples. Yummmm...

A Very Bubby Thanksgiving. Note: He hates pants.
